Study of the personal attitudes’ dynamics by means of the colour diagnostics
Abstract
The article reveals the results of an empirical study of the dynamics of the personal attitudes’ system in adolescence (depending on the course of study) by means of the colour diagnostics. The pecularities of the adolescents’ attitudes to the different aspects of reality: to themselves, to others, to the various activities are defined. The specificity of the dynamics of the personal attitudes’ system of adolescents characterizes the pecularities of learning related to the differentiation of the attitudes towards the different aspects of reality, the level of self-assessment, the peculiarities of activity and communication, identifies the options for the personal development. Attitude as a predisposition to the certain objects is realized in the people’s activities and behavior. An adequate way of the identifying of the personal attitudes’ system to the different aspects of reality is a projective technique of the colour metaphors. Longitudinal investigation of the subjective attitudes’ system in adolescence demonstrates that the peculiarities of the dynamics of the attitudes’ structure is characterized by the change of the attitudes to reality, including one’s past; deeper identification and awareness of oneself, adequate change of self-assessment and attitude to oneself due to the processes of adaptation and learning; increasing of future expectations’ awareness, orientation on the profession; peculiarities of activity and communication. Individual structure of adolescents’ attitudes may determine the version of their personal development. The study substantiates the use of colour as a means of expressing a system of the adolescents’ attitudes.
