Abstract

The article devoted essence of the micro-teaching method and its role in the process of training highly qualified specialists. Articles subject of this is micro-teaching as a promising method for training highly qualified specialists. Articles aim is to reveal the essence of the micro-teaching method and to elucidate the effectiveness of its use for the preparation of future highly skilled specialists. The article establishes that micro-education increases the interest of students in learning process, allowing them to partially form a plan for lecture classes; gives students the necessary practical experience of speaking before an audience, develops the ability to defend one’s own opinion; educates students such qualities as self-organization, responsibility, initiative and high intellectual selfawareness opens a number of new didactic solutions for the teacher to increase the volume of information delivery. Micro-teaching method can be used by teachers of higher educational institutions to increase the level of students interest in the educational process.
