The development of cognitive independent behavior of junior schoolchildren at the Ukrainian language classes
The article covers the peculiarities of the development of junior pupils’ cognitive independence at the Ukrainian language lessons. The scientific bases of the development of cognitive independence of junior schoolchildren is described ,the existing experience of solving the problem is analyzed and promising ways of its use in the modern school are theoretically substantiated. The psychological and pedagogical conditions influencing the development of cognitive independence of junior schoolchildren at the Ukrainian language lessons are revealed and examined. It is noted that work on the development of cognitive independence at the Ukrainian language lessons at elementary school has a great general and practical value. It is determined that the process of the development of cognitive independence is subordinated
to the general principles and laws of the educational process, in which the intersubjective relationship
between the teacher and the students based on trust, mutual respect and benevolence has the importance
.It is approved that cognitive independence is the result of a well-thought-out system of education and
upbringing, aimed at the development of independence as a feature of the students’ character . The
cognitive independence is an important result of junior schoolchildren’s development, and at the same
time a condition for their successful formation. The article describes the means and methods available in theory and practice which conduce the development of cognitive independence of junior pupils. It is found that cognitive independence develops in the process of activity and affects its quality. It is proved that interest in learning positively influences the development of cognitive independence of students. As it is an important condition for activation of learning and developing cognitive independence of students at the Ukrainian language lessons. Sustained interest in knowledge supports the active state of schoolchildren at all the stages of the educational process and the desire to work independently. The author analyzes the psychological and pedagogical literature on the topic of the article and suggests the effective ways to solve the problem.
