ПСИХОЛОГО-ПЕДАГОГІЧНІ ЗАСАДИ МОРАЛЬНОГО ВИХОВАННЯ ДОШКІЛЬНИКІВ У ПОГЛЯДАХ С. РУСОВОЇ

Abstract

The article presents the analysis of the theoretical and methodological foundations of preschool children’s moral education in the light of the outstanding scholar’s vision, the founder of social preschool education in Ukraine Sophia Rusova. The basic psychological and pedagogical provisions of the S. Rusova’s concept concerning the influence of education on the pre-school children’s moral development are revealed. The systematic presentation was made on the basis of the study of the S. Rusova’s primary sources (pedagogical works) and the scientific work of contemporary home researchers who study her heritage in the context of psychological and pedagogical positions. It is proved that in the views of S. Rusova on the preschool children’s moral upbringing, the necessity to take into account the peculiarities of the pupils and their individual features is clearly traced. The mentioned above, gives reasons to distinguish personally oriented approach to the realization of the moral education tasks in the Sofia Rusova’s heritage. The main elements of the investigated process, in particular, are the formation of children’s moral ideas, the moral emotions and feelings development, as well as the moral behavior acquisition, which deserve to be noted. She also characterized the psychological mechanisms and factors contributing to the moral consciousness formation, as well as pedagogical means: the forms and methods of children’s moral education. The proposed Methodological Toolkit for providing moral education by S. Rusova is appropriate for the implementation into modern practice of the educational process organization for pre-school educational institutions. The scientific postulates expressed by S. Rusova about the necessity of realization the tasks of moral education of a person in complex with others, are actual today, as this process is continuous and promotes the accumulation of the child’s own moral experience, which will ensure its successful entry into society and rapid adaptation in it. Thus, the analysis of the scientific work of Sophia Rusova in the sense of determining the psychological and pedagogical principles of preschoolers’ moral education, gives reasons to note the progressiveness of her ideas, which is an indisputable fact.
