Prospects for the development of inclusive education system

Abstract

Inclusion is the process of real engagement of children with peculiarities of psycho-physical development to active social life and equally necessary for all members of society.

The extension of the inclusive education process for children with disabilities to physical and mental health in Ukraine is not only an urgent need for the present but also one more step towards ensuring the full realization of the rights of children with special needs for quality education. Inclusive practice provides access to education at a general educational institution at the place of residence and creates the necessary conditions for successful training for all children without exception, regardless of their individual characteristics, mental and physical abilities.

Our society is facing an acute problem of attracting our fellow citizens who have some features of physical development in society, the problem of their active adaptation, socialization and development within the society and for the benefit of society.

Children are born with great potential to learn the whole world, live, develop and create in it. Communication is one of the most important human needs. A child with special needs is not a passive member of society, but a person who has the right to meet their own social needs, to work, rest, family, pension, access to cultural property.

The society is obliged to enable every child, regardless of her needs and other circumstances, to fully realize his potential, bring benefits to society and become a full member of his community. The purpose of working with children who have violations of psychophysical development is to integrate into the modern system of social relations.

The article deals with the problem of educational integration as the initial stage of social integration in general; Inclusive education is considered as an integral part of the development of modern education, which is based on an individual approach to each student that is relevant today in a democratic society.
