Along with the traditional approaches to the study of pedagogical disciplines, the author proposes the use of interactive forms and methods of teaching, which affect the traditional process of learning in a new way, increase its effectiveness, direct it to the development of the student’s personality. The article states that interactive learning contributes to the construction of the educational process in such a way that it takes place under the conditions of constant active interaction of all students. Through the example of courses «Didactics», «Theory and Methodology of Education» interactive forms and methods of teaching are considered, in particular such as frontal, cooperative, individual (independent) work, dialogical methods, situational modeling (simulation games). The examples of topics from the disciplines and the forms and methods, by which they are studied, are given. The purpose of applying a cooperative form of training in practical and laboratory classes on pedagogical disciplines is to involve students in active participation in the process of mastering program material. This form of training involves the use of the methods of collective discussion in practical work. The frontal form of training involves generalization and systematization of students’ knowledge, self-evaluation, and evaluation of the work of one another’s students. The content of the situational method of teaching is revealed, which provides students with understanding of the real life situation. The purpose of this method is to teach how to cope with non-standard situations that we encounter in real life. The author reveals the role of the simulation game method. An important simulation procedure is the discussion of the results of the activity and the future teachers’ awareness of cause-and-effect link, which can be traced by analyzing the results of the simulation. Such simulation games contribute to the practical application of the ability to solve problem situations. The author makes an argument for using different methods and forms of learning in the process of studying pedagogical disciplines, in such a way the process of learning knowledge is intensified, given thecreative nature, the work of students is being built on cooperation, mutual learning, which contributes tothe formation of their professionalism, the manifestation of their individual abilities and abilities topedagogical work.
